What happens when you have a message you want to reply to?

You'll have the message complete with all the details that make it ready to respond to. Slick as polished ice!

What happens to the rest of the messages?

They just stay right there on the server until you are good and ready to deal with them. You can download them at your leisure or else you can selectively reply to them and delete them when you are done. You decide.

Only when you are ready will you use your regular email program (i.e. Outlook, Eudora, etc.) to download the friendly messages that you haven't deleted. Chances are you'll have far fewer messages, no spam or viruses, and most importantly -- no surprises!

Now, exactly how does ESP work?

ESP reads only the headers to your messages. That's why it's so fast. It never "downloads" any message until you ask it to "preview". When you see a subject line or a familiar "From:" that catches your interest, then you can decide to "preview" (read) the message. ESP puts YOU in control of your email instead of the other way around.

Does ESP give me full functionality?

Absolutely. You can grab attachments, respond, delete, sort by To, From, Size, Date, and even examine complete headers with complete details.

How does ESP help me avoid downloading spam and viruses?

Easy! ...spam is usually pretty obvious by the Subject, From, or the To line. Much of it isn't even addressed to you. Instead it's addressed to 'Undisclosed Recipients' or 'them@theirdomain.com'. ESP allows you to sort by any criteria. Sorting by the To will group all of the messages that are actually "to" you -- making it easy to group delete the rest without having to download them.

Another VERY useful way to identify potentially hostile messages (i.e., over sized files, viruses, attachments, etc.) is by sorting by "size" or by "subject". This will group together and reveal multiple spam messages and suspiciously large file sized messages. Sorting will help you easily find them and ESP allows you to easily group-delete them without ever having to download them.
